I had the opportunity to grow up in Christian home. It was not until October, 2008 at the age of 15 that I accepted Jesus Christ as my own Lord and Saviour. Shortly after salvation I was baptized and surrendered to serve the Lord in full time ministry. In 2009 I had the privilege to attend Camp BIMI, a camp with an emphasis on world wide missions. That week, the Lord showed me He wanted me as a church planting missionary. During the same week of camp, a video was shown that presented the need for missionaries to surrender to go and preach the gospel to the Inuit people of Greenland. I began to pray about this great opportunity to minister to a country with very little gospel witness. In 2012, I attended Ambassador Baptist College and majored in Bible and missions. The Lord used a 2015 missions trip to Baffin Island, Canada to confirm to me the call to the Inuit of Greenland. While in college I met my beautiful wife, Aleah, and we were married in June of 2017. In December of 2017, we joined with Baptist International Missions Inc. and are currently on full time deputation.
I was raised in a Christian home and attended a Bible-believing Baptist Church since before I was born. Because of this, I was introduced to the gospel at a very young age. Around the age of 5, I realized that I was a sinner in need of a Savior. My dad showed me from the Bible how I could know Jesus as my Savior and that night I accepted Him. When I was 8, God worked in my heart during a week of camp and I surrendered my life to full-time Christian service. As a young teenager, I was convicted about needing a personal relationship with Jesus and so I began to faithfully read God’s Word and pray. About a year later, God convicted me about taking my first step of obedience and being baptized. In the summer of 2006, I publicly demonstrated my faith in Jesus Christ through believer’s baptism. In 2011, I graduated from high school unsure of God’s plan for my future. I knew God wanted me to attend college, but He had a few things for me to experience before that time. One of the experiences was a visit with my brother and his family who are missionaries to Baffin Island, Canada. There I discovered life in the Arctic and the Inuit people who know no other kind of life. Little did I know how important that trip was for my future. In 2013, I began my 4 year music degree at Ambassador Baptist College. When God brought Gage into my life, He made it very clear that my direction was to follow my husband and serve beside him in ministry to reach the Inuit people of Greenland. I count it a privilege to serve my Lord Jesus Christ by sharing Christ to a people in great need.
